Mary Jane Creighton

Mary Jane L. Creighton, age 89, of Scott Township, PA, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2026.

Born on April 14, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Priam) Berceli.

Mary Jane was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in the time spent with her family. She had a warm and gentle spirit, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—taking trips to Meadow’s Casino, curling up with a good book, and spending time with her beloved cats, Ziggy and Dobby, who were her constant companions.

She is survived by her loving children, James Creighton and Diana (Mark) Lyons; her cherished grandchildren, Cara (Ishan) Lyons-Gupta, Danielle Lyons, Rory Lyons, and Monte Lyons; and her treasured great-grandson, Arjun Gupta. She is also survived by her dear brothers, George Berceli and Lou Berceli.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her siblings, John “Jeep” Farkas, Joe “Granny” Farkas, Frank “Alabama” Berceli, Charles “Lutz” Berceli, and Anne Torre.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the time of a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
