Mary Jane Gardner

Mary Jane Gardner, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Pitcairn, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 26, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Jerome Gardner and the daughter of the late David and Margaret Cronin.

Mary Jane was a devoted mother to Matthew Gardner, Danielle Roney, and Dana Mellinger, and a loving sister to Grace Witkowski, David Cronin, and Margaret Price. She will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren, Halie, Brandon, Davin, Lily, Makaela, and Shane, as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, camping, visiting wineries, shopping, and solving puzzles. She dedicated over 47 years to caring for others as a nurse at Children’s Hospital, a testament to her compassionate and giving nature.

All services were private and entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
