Mary M. Held, age 69, of Pittsburgh, passed on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William R. Held; companion of Raymond Gates; mother of Holly (the late George) Curry, Ronald (Jessica) Held, Heather (Joseph Bryden) Held; grandmother of Geoffrey, Maeghan, Jarrod, Noah, Gabrielle, Daniel, RuthAnn, Jocelyn, Destiny, and Jacalyn; great-grandmother of Jayce and Brooke; sister of the late William L. Beermann, Jr., Edward A. Beermann, Sr., and Joann M. Dampf; also survived by many nieces, nephews and her loving dog Angel.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson township, PA 15136.

Rest easy Aunt Mary, you are a huge part of who I am today. Growing up so close to you and Uncle Ron has taught me so many things. Most of all, love. You two have always loved with such pure hearts. Sure you hated us all from time to time lol, but even that was only out of love. And even though I am not bonded to you by blood or even marriage (whew THAT story lol) you have always treated me like your own. I am definitely going miss the heck out of you! It still seems so unreal to think I will never see that beautiful face again 💔 I know you are finally pain free and truly at peace in the arms of the love of your life again. I'm so glad the girls allowed me to come sit with you and say goodbye. I will forever hold that in my heart. I love you Aunt Mary, give Uncle Ron a huge hug and kiss from me and tell him I love him too!
