My Deepest Sympathy to Lexie, and her family. Melba had such an upbeat and fun personality. I am so grateful to have had the chance to meet her, even dance and sing to some Elvis! With heartfelt sympathy, wishing you peace and comfort during this time.

I have so many memories of Melba..from family trips together to Miami Beach, to going to her house on weekends in Far Rockaway. She would always make fricassee de pollo with rice, and she'd count how long it would take me to chew. She'd sing a song about how I was "despeinada" because she disapproved of my messy hair! I hope when she arrived at the pearly gates, she was greeted by Mima, Ruperto and all the puppies she loved so much. RIP to the only aunt I ever knew. Melba, you will be missed...

My dearest Melba, My heart is broken that you're gone. You've been a huge part of my life since the day I was born. From riding roller coasters with me and Julia as a kid to sitting next to my mother on my wedding day. We've cried together when our dogs passed and we laughed together listening to Elvis on your CD player just a few months ago. My mom and I sat together after your passing and shared pictures of all of us in good times which brought tears to our eyes. My aunt, my godmother. I love you and will miss you, until we meet again you will be forever in my heart.
