Melvin “Moe” C. Oswald

July 10, 1931 – September 20, 2022

Moe went to meet his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 20th.

Beloved husband of 59 years to Geraldine “Gerry”; loving father of Kenneth (Nina) Oswald, Dena (Donald) Karsin, Charles (Nicole) Myers; devoted grandfather of Kenneth (Debbie) Oswald, Jayme (Steve) Walzer, Alan (Taylor Rezzetano) Hartwick, Kaitylyn (Zach) Weismann, Justin, Jordan, Jared & Andrew Myers; cherished great-grandfather of Ava Hartwick, James, Katelyn, Kristen & Jake Walzer.

Moe was a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served his country in the Korean War.  He was an avid golfer, organic gardener, sportsman, and in his later years he enjoyed the casino.  He had a quick wit, great sense of humor and a warm heart.   He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

The family extends sincere thanks and gratitude to Jennifer at AHN Healthcare@Home for the kind and compassionate care she and the staff rendered during his time on hospice care.

Interment with full military honors will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017 on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 1:30pm. Please meet to ride in procession at 12:30pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136.
