My sincere sympathy to Mike’s family. He was a wonderful, kind and objective soul. I always enjoyed engaging with him about sports and fishing. My only regret is that we didn’t become social friends outside of our SOP relationship. God bless Mike and his family.

Condolences to the family, and especially to Kristi. We were deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with Mike as a fellow faculty member at Pitt and always enjoyed his deep curiosity, sense of humor and forthright perspective. He lived his values and we were all beneficiaries.
