Michael Marino, age 82, of Tarentum, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
Born on October 27, 1936, he was the son of the late Margaret and Mike Marino.
Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Marino; loving father of Vicki (David) Cowen and Michele (Robert) Mack; cherished grandfather of Dana (Justin) Cruel, Rachel Cowan, Natalie Cowan, Grant Cowan, Jake Mack and Elle Mack; great grandfather of Nora Cruel; and dear brother of the late Carmela.

Mike loved all sports. He was a sports editor for The Democrat Arkansas Gazette, Pittsburgh Press and Valley News Dispatch.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I just met Mike in May of this year when I came to work at Asbury as a Family/Patient Advocate. Due to my responsibilities I had many occasions to interact with him. I appreciated his kindness and patience with me, being new to the job I had some things to learn. Mike was a good man, and I’m so pleased to have known him.

Mike was a kind and dear soul. I had the pleasure of these last 2 years of working with him through the Activities Department here at Asbury. He brought alot to our Activities, he is missed dearly. May he rest in eternal peace.
