Michael Slowinski, passed away on July 6, 2026.
Mike was the beloved son of the late Michael and Helen Slowinski. He shared 33 years of love, companionship, and cherished memories with Karen Adams, whose steadfast devotion was a treasured part of his life.
He leaves behind his loving sons, Steven (Denise) Slowinski and Jeffrey (Nicolette) Slowinski; his stepchildren, Robert Adams, Chrissy Adams, and Valerie Stevens; his grandchildren, Niceole, Maddison, Carter, and Colt; his step-grandchildren, Michael, Faith, Vera, Temperance, and Adeline; as well as five great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Mike will be remembered by many for his unwavering dedication to the Freedom Lil’ Bulldogs football organization, where he proudly served as a coach for many years. Football was far more than a game to Mike. Whether coaching from the sidelines or cheering on his favorite teams, he found great joy in the sport. More importantly, he used the game to instill the values of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence in the young athletes he mentored. The countless lives he influenced through his encouragement and leadership stand as a lasting testament to his character.
Away from the football field, Mike had a lifelong appreciation for oldies music. Those classic songs brought him happiness and became a defining part of who he was. His family finds comfort in knowing that whenever those familiar melodies are heard, they will be reminded of Mike and the joy he brought to those around him.
Above all else, Mike treasured the time he spent with his family. His love, guidance, and quiet strength will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy lives on through his family, the young people he inspired, and the many lives he touched with his generosity, kindness, and unwavering heart.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always. May he rest in eternal peace.
