Michelle Rhea Scandrol

Michelle Rhea Scandrol, age 60, of Port Vue, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025.

She was born in Camp Lejeune to the late Joyce and Donald Kavran. Michelle was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose caring nature touched everyone she met.

She was the loving mother of Tim Scandrol (Melissa), Brittany Scandrol (Paul), and Brianna Coleman. She was a dear sister to Jackie, Kimberly, and Joseph. Michelle was a beloved grandmother to Ariana, Brendan, Paig, and Lilah, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Michelle worked as a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for over 25 years. Through her compassion and selflessness, she made her residents and coworkers feel like family, leaving a lasting impact on all those she cared for. Outside of work, Michelle’s greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

She will be remembered always by her family and friends who loved her.
