Mildred L. “Millie” Maddy

Mildred L. “Millie” Maddy, age 87, passed away peacefully at Seneca Place in Verona, Pennsylvania, on August 8, 2026.

Millie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family and the special place she held in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Edward Daley; her brother, Edward Daley; and her beloved grandson, Denny Ayres.

She is survived by her children, Michael Maddy, Merry Stawowczyk, and Melissa (Dennis) Ayres; her grandchildren, Maryn Maddy, Marissa Maddy, Michael (Sarah) Maddy, Samantha Myers (Matthew), and Daniel Stawowczyk; and her great-grandchildren.

Millie’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the love she shared with them will live on in their hearts and memories. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.

The family has entrusted private funeral arrangements to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
