Nancy A. (Nason) Bellamy, age 77, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on September 5, 2022.

Born on December 28, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Frances Propp Nason and E. Dale Nason.

Beloved wife of Randy Bellamy for 59 years; loving mother of Karen Bellamy (Tim) Trant and Kathy (Rob) Dimeo; cherished grandmother of Lauren (David Linder) Trant, Paige Trant, Danielle Trant, Emma Dimeo and Michael Dimeo; sister of Gayle (Mel) Nason-Churchill.

Nancy was an incredibly creative, intelligent, strong woman who loved her family, friends and valued support network through her Sunnyhill Unitarian-Universalist Church of the South Hills.

She was proud to return to college after raising children and graduated from Chatham University with a BFA (Studio Art-Painitng)

Herself a strikingly beautiful eclectic work of art, she was admired by many for her tasteful yet funky and unique sense of style. Beautifully adorned at all times with her signature large-beaded jewelry and beautifully layered fair-trade textiles…she was always perfectly coiffed with her signature white hair and personally hand painted walking stick.

Nancy enjoyed sharing beauty with others around the world to uplift their spirits. Routinely curating and sharing posts about multiple art forms and the wonders of nature to bring joy to so many people, she also fiercely defended and supported animal welfare, social justice, women’s rights and so many other causes. Nancy was deeply adored by so many friends and family for her unconditonal love and compassion for all creatures, both human and animal. She was an absolute treasure and will be missed dearly and cherished in our hearts forever.

Family and friends are welcome to join us to honor Nancy at a Celebration of Life Memorial Service
