Nancy Young Polachek

Nancy Young Polachek, 88 of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026.

Predeceased by husband William C. Polachek, Jr., daughter Pamela Koch (Eric), and parents William C. and Madeline Young. Loving mother and friend to Cynthia (Robert) Egeland, Jennifer (Mark) LaRosa, Rebecca (Stephen) Wanovich. Beloved grandmother to Kevin Egeland, Jaclyn Sittnick, Nicole Jack, Karl Egeland, Kirk Egeland, Anthony LaRosa, and William Wanovich; and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister to Judy McAdoo.

Nancy was former Vice President of Polachek Company and was a talented Artist which included 25 years of quilting instruction.

A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Friendship Village, 1290 Boyce Rd., Upper St. Clair, PA 15241. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank  https://www.pittsburghfoodbank.org
