You were my best friend and brother. I will always remember and talk about the crazy fun time we had together. Even though I am 10yrs. older than you, we had so much in common. We are truly saddened by such a tragic loss. I will miss the great fearless fun we had and was looking forward to many more times. Nates smile and laugh lite up the room. I will miss my riding buddy, shooting buddy and good neighbor. Our small street will never be the same. Too young, too soon my friend. Our prayers are with you Danielle, your family and Nates family. I knew Nathan as Nate, over a decade ago when we were all teenagers spending summers (for me) in Baraboo. Our escapades at Devil’s Lake State Park, the family farm and throughout downtown Baraboo with a whole troop of similarly situated friends who also happened to be family made it my absolute favorite place to go growing up. Adlai and Nate were a huge part of that experience for my brother and I and I will always fondly remember the times I had with Nathan in a much more carefree and less complicated world. Rest In Peace, my cousin and friend.

Nathan was a treasured Nephew. He had the most infectious smile ever! I have wonderful memories of his younger years...fun times hiking and swimming Devil’s Lake State Park, and at his Grandma’s farm. I am proud of his service to our country. I will always miss him. I am praying for you, Danielle, as you go through this terrible loss. May the Lord comfort and uphold you.
