Nicholas Albert, age 29, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2022. Born on August 23, 1992 in Plano, Texas, he was the son Stephen and Kimberly Albert. Beloved significant other of Katrina Trebesh, grandson of the Beryl and the late Pete Dawso and the late Arthur and Jane Albert; nephew of Tracy Fox, Sharon Dawso, John (Pam) Albert, and Mathew Albert, cousin of Emily and Julia Fox and Christopher Albert; also survived by members of the Halliburton family.

Nick was a water bug who enjoyed being in and near water especially the beach. He had an enthusiasm for roller coasters and other thrill-seeking rides. He had a big heart for animals of all types especially dogs. Nick enjoyed all night diners and a good conversation with friends. He was a loyal friend and a defender of the underdog. He was funny and his laugh infectious. Nick was known as hard working, generous, and he knew how to live large. It was an honor to know and love him.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, August 27, 2022 for a “Tell Me A Story” celebration of life at 1:00pm followed by an informal gathering with food until 4:00pm at the Castle Shannon Firemen’s Hall 3600 Library Road Pittsburgh, PA 15234. The family ask that you please come as you are and bring a story to share. Nicholas always loved a good story told. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.

Words spoken at this time have little influence over the emotion of profound grief felt due to this unexpectant loss. Only bonds of love from family and friends can offer the anchor needed. Know that our love and prayers are with you! Ps.94:22 Lori Z. and Dave Dowiak
