Patricia A. Hammerle, age 65, of Bethel Park, passed away unexpectedly with family by her side on January 13, 2026.

Born on October 9, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Margaret and Carmen DeTesta.

Beloved wife of 30 years to the late Henry Hammerle; loving mother of Zach Hammerle; adored Mimi of Liam, Leo, Levi, Kenneth and the late Jaxson; dear sister of Tony (Lynne) DeTesta and Sandy Zupkow; cherished aunt of Jenna (Tommy) Cox.

Patty was a woman whose heart was as generous as her spirit was lively. She had a deep love for gambling and gaming, finding joy in the thrill, strategy, and fun they brought into her life. Whether it was the excitement of a game or the camaraderie that came with it, Patty embraced those moments with enthusiasm and a smile.

At her core, Patty was a caregiver. She had a natural instinct to look after others, always putting the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. She was the one who checked in, offered help without being asked, and made sure everyone around her felt supported and cared for. Taking care of people wasn’t just something Patty did—it was who she was.

Patty’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to others will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her compassion, generosity, and love.

She will be remembered always, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 11 am until the time of a service at 2 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital at http://stjude.org

I remember every year we would take a trip to Pennsylvania to see my dad's sister's. I loved doing that! My favorite visit was with Aunt Margaret, Uncle Carman and their 2 children, Tony and Patty! I was always sad to leave because I enjoyed my cousins and I wanted to stay longer! I wish that, as adult, I would have made at least one more trip. Our last visit was so quick! I will think of you always! ❤️😪

Patty was certainly a kind, caring, and wonderful lady, as was so well explained in her obituary. Everyone who knew her will miss her. My wife, Beth, and I pray that God will ease the pain of the morning process and help bring to mind good memories.
