Patricia Eileen Coleman Kubeck, age 73, passed away with her family by her side on the morning of September 18, 2018.  Pat heroically battled stage 4 lung cancer for over 5 years. During this time, she raised money for many cancer charities and hospitals to further the research that helped prolong her life and to give others the chance to be cured. She was a fierce, but quiet fighter, and a loving mother and wife. Pat dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.  She rescued many animals and devoted her life to finding loving homes for rescued animals.  Pat also loved to knit and crochet, creating many masterpieces with her talented hands. She loved to cook, garden, go antique shopping, and spending time with her family.

Born in Middletown CT March 17, 1945 to the late Dorothy Eileen Schipke Coleman and Edward Martin Coleman. Patricia was raised by her loving Grandmother, Beatrice Davidson Schipke.

Proceeded in death by her husband John Gerald Kubeck, her sister Darlien Florence Coleman Belko and her half-brothers Charles and George Stackpole.

Patricia leaves behind her children, Kenneth John Kubeck, Wayne Edward Kubeck (wife Julie), John George Kubeck (wife Traci), and Christine Lynn Kubeck Yankel (husband Joseph). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Nicole Lynn Kubeck, Summer Anastasia Greene, Joseph Patrick Yankel, Ethan Christopher Yankel, Isaac John Yankel, and Marianna Rose Kubeck. In addition, Patricia leaves behind her half-sisters Mariane Stackpole White, Georgene Stackpole Sherman, half-brother David Stackpole, nieces Christine Belko, Stephanie Freeman, and nephew Matthew Freeman as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to the Hillman Cancer Center, where the researchers, doctors, nurses, and staff worked tirelessly and lovingly to give Patricia more time to enjoy life.

Dear Kenneth's family, I am very sorry for your loss. I have no idea where Ken is and haven't seen or heard from him in a year. I think he's also passed because he was homeless. We and you all have tried helping him. I knew how bad you poor sweet mother was doing and I refused to help him hurt her or any of you. I hope you all have some sense of finality now about him. We have all suffered enough now.
