Patricia Ellen Suchoza (Meier) age 86, of McMurray, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 18th. She was the beloved wife of Bernard for over 60 years, loving mother of Karen (Henry) Chesko, Kathy (Doug) Wolfe, Kim (Steve) Burdette, Kevin (Yolanda) Suchoza, Kenny (Tammy) Suchoza, Karl (Jackie) Suchoza, and Krista (Bill) Kollitz. Proud grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Phyllis (Larry) May, Carolyn (Alan) Podbesek, Robert (Marilyn) Meier, and the late Mary Theresa (Robert) Mather. Patricia was born and raised in Pomeroy, OH, graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and worked as a pediatric nurse in Parkersburg, WV. She met her husband in Key West, FL and moved to McMurray after her marriage. She was an active volunteer at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, Mayview and Canonsburg Hospitals and Peters Township schools. She enjoyed music, shopping, square dancing and traveling. She was the picture of generosity and kindness throughout her life, and a model of strength in her later years.

Family and Friends will be received at Cremation and Funeral Care 3287 Washington Rd McMurray on Thursday, October 26th from 1-3pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 27th at 9:30am at St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Contributions may be made to St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church Building Fund or Sisters of St. Joseph www.stjoseph-baden.org.
