Patricia “Pat” A. McKee

Patricia “Pat” A. McKee, Age 85, passed peacefully on Saturday July 13, 2024. She spent her last day with loved ones sharing memories of the life she had built not only for herself, but for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: William “Bill” McKee, father and mother John & Florence Filipek; brother John (Bernice) Filipek and sister Debbie (Michael) Kozak. Pat is survived by her beautiful daughters; Denise (Ron) Hrubes and Renee (Harry) Rock II; grandchildren; Samantha, Ben, Sarah, and Kayla. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked at Jenny Lee Bakery, followed by cleaning houses, then seeing her final mission to be a nurturing grandmother. Once becoming a dedicated grandmother, she instilled kindness, compassion, honesty, perseverance, and many other traits that her loved ones use every day in their lives. Pat loved spending time with family, playing board games, badminton, cooking, going to church, and eating her sweets. She was a selfless woman who would do anything for her family, even praying into the late hours of the night to ensure everyone was taken care of. Pat will always be greatly cherished and missed by the people she has touched.

At the family’s request, all services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. (412) 787-1800.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association
