Paul Delmont Phillips, 86, of McMurray, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 17, 2026. Born on January 21, 1940 in Washington, PA he was the son of the late Delmont and Ethel Phillips.

Beloved husband to Gail Kamp Phillips for 39 years and had a daughter, Ashley (Nathan) Tovornik; Brother to Nancy (William) Lese and Charles Phillips; Brother-in-law to William McClure; Grandfather to seven grandchildren and great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Paul was formerly married to the late Sandra Oliverio Phillips with whom he has four children, Wayde (Dawn) Phillips, Beth McCaffrey, Shawn (Michele) Phillips, and Carroll (Nikki) Phillips who survive him. He is preceded in death by his siblings, June (Robert) Freno and Joan McClure.

Paul was a 1957 graduate of Canonsburg High School. He spent 58 years as a tour bus driver and also served as a part-time school bus driver for the Peters Township School District. At home, Paul was the go-to handyman, always ready to fix or build whatever was needed. He especially loved spending time on his tractor and took great pride in working with his hands, known for his love of staying busy.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10am, followed by burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital for Research. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

I enjoyed knowing and working with Paul. He always had a smile for you. We shared some great times working as school bus drivers....he was a great driver, could really maneuver that bus around... rest in peace Paul, youn will be missed!!

To all of the Family, We share your loss at Paul's passing, He has the greatest smile, most helpful and friendly, and He and Gail are incredibly great neighbors, ( we are here for you Gail and Carol ) We will never forget our grandson's pictures taken on his tractor.
