Paul Kelleher

Paul John Kelleher of Oakdale PA passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 56. He was born on March 2, 1964.  He was originally from New City NY, later residing in Yaphank NY and Milford PA. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Linda Kelleher. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Kristen and Melissa Kelleher. He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Elena Kelleher. Although separated in later years they always remained the best of friends. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Erica Stewart. He is survived by his brother, Mark Kelleher, his niece and nephew, Danny Kelleher and Laura Peters and his in-laws, Marianne and Michael Sanclimenti and James Gianos as well as his Aunt and cousins and countless friends.

Paul attended college at SUNY New Paltz. He worked for the Bank of NY as Vice President for over 20 years. He later worked for the state of PA in various positions at one point managing their CareerLink program in Tannersville PA.  He most recently worked as a caseworker at the Dept of Welfare in Pittsburgh where he loved helping people.

Paul was known for his sense of humor and tattoos. He was a walking work of art. He loved motorcycles and music. He attended many concerts and was happy that he and his girls were able to meet his favorite artist Aaron Lewis. He loved his country and freedom and was a big supporter of 2ndamendment rights. He loved to travel and recently visited Ireland fulfilling a lifelong dream and a promise he made to his mother.

Paul was an organ donor and it gave great comfort to his family knowing part of him will live on to help others.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a date to be determined. Donations in his honor may be made to C.O.R.E (Center for Organ Recovery and Education), UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) or his favorite charity St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.

Condolences to his family. I know how much he loved you all. He used to be my supervisor in Tannersville and I thought he was a terrific person and a great supervisor. I learned a lot from him and always will cherish our conversations. He was a great guy.
