Paul M. Sunday

Paul Michael Sunday, 77, of Peters Township, PA, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2026.

Born on October 13, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the beloved son of the late Paul and Sarah Sunday.

Paul will be remembered most for the love and devotion he gave to his family. A dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather, he found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. His quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering support were gifts that his family will carry with them always.

He shared a loving marriage with his late wife, Patricia Sunday, and together they built a life centered on family, laughter, and lasting memories. Though Patricia preceded him in death, the love they shared remained an enduring part of Paul’s life.

Paul was the loving father of Allison (Shawn) Flodine, Jeanine (James) McClelland, Michael (Colleen) Sunday, and Valerie (Derrick Mock) Dame. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Gage Holden, Brady, Collin, Reilly, and Casey Sunday, and Connor, Bowen, and Griffin Dame, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.

He is also survived by his sister, Sarah (Pat) Harlan. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Martin Sunday.

Paul also had a special place in his heart for his dogs, whose loyal companionship brought him comfort and joy throughout the years.

While his family grieves his passing, they take comfort in the countless memories they shared and in the legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that Paul leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
