Penny E. Barnes

Penny Elaine Barnes, 77, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 17,2026 at Concordia Hospice Donnell House.

Penny was born August 12,1948 in Bellaire, Ohio to Albert and Peggy Givens. Penny was a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a good friend. She spent her life loving her family and devoted to her faith. Penny worked at various jobs which included bus driver, teacher’s aide and head cook for Bellaire Middle School.

She is survived by her two sons; Robert (Bob) Barnes, Jason Barnes (Nicole Cain), Kristie Barnes, mother of Zachory Barnes (Daniella) and Alexandria Barnes, (Grandchildren) and three great grandchildren Jerimiah, Alanna, and Lincoln.

Penny is survived by her five siblings: J Lynn Givens, Melody Ramsay, Beth Crawmer, Ginnie Laniewski, and Albert Givens. Numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband (Robert Barnes Sr.) and sister, Faith.

She will be missed by her family, relatives, and friends. A special thank you to her friend, Susan C, that was her long term support and aide.

Memorial Services are not scheduled at this time. A celebration of life gathering will be scheduled for a future date.
