Our deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire family. A parent never plans to bury a child. It defies the natural order of how things are “supposed “ to happen. Having just gone through this ourselves we can honestly say we “ know” what you are going through and what you will continue to go through. God will always be along with you on the emotional roller coaster ride. You are in our prayers. Mike and Bernadette Stager

I did Not know your daughter but the article touched me and something Compelled me to write the following. I’m so sorry your family has to deal with this terrible loss. I’m sad she did not see her worth and that addiction is such a horrific disease. I have lost many friends from this evil. I’m sorry her son will grow up without her and I’m sure in her heart she wanted better for herself but addiction grips and holds the soul much tighter than any earthly force sadly. I will Pray for your family, pray that you find peace in this awful heartache.

Rachel, I just saw you a few weeks ago at Buford's Kitchen...that encounter will forever lay dear to my heart. I can still hear your voice say with pride "This is my son!" as you showed me pictures of your precious little boy from your phone. My heart aches so badly for your son and family... You were always so full of energy growing up -- with a beautiful smile and heart to boot. I will remember all the good times we shared in high school - being silly dancing and singing at Lauren's with Shauna, Danny and the gang! I pray that you have finally found your peace, sweet angel. Love you girlie, I'll never forget you <3

I’ve been thinking endlessly what to say, although it’s hard to put more than a decade of amazing memories and the incredible sadness I feel knowing you are no longer here into words. I will cherish you, Rachel and keep our moments together tucked deep in my heart, forever. Until we meet again my sweet friend.
