Rachel Spurrier, 66, of McMurray, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026. Born on August 9, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, Rachel was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Betsy Spurrier.
Rachel was a devoted sister to Kate Steratore and her husband, Tony. She was a loving aunt to Anthony (Erica), Matthew, and Benjamin (Cassandra).
Rachel found a special sense of community and belonging at Clelian Heights, where she considered the residents and staff her second family. The friendships and support she experienced there brought her great happiness.
Rachel found great joy in music, especially hard rock, sharing a laugh, and working in her office. Her vibrant personality and infectious spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rachel’s life at Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601, on September 11 at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Paramount Senior Living and Paramount Hospice.
