Raymond Neal Dodson, 67, of Crafton, died suddenly Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home.
He was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1953, in Pittsburgh, the son of Charles Richard Dodson Sr. and Mary Kundrat Dodson. He was called Neal by family and childhood friends, but everyone else called him Raymond and he loved to say, “everyone loves Raymond”, and they did.

He graduated from Montour High School and in his senior year received MVP in baseball. He worked several years for Bell and Howell and Mailing Services repairing insert mailing machines. The last few years he was employed as an usher at PPG Arena, Heinz Field and PNC Park. In 2018 he was All-Star of the Month at PNC Park, an award he took great pride in receiving.

In addition to his parents Neal was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth John Dodson. Raymond Neal is survived by his brothers, Charles Dodson Jr. (Eileen), Richard Dodson (Peg), Mark Dodson (Lynda); sisters, Donna Vesely (Joseph), Beverly Dodson and Mary Beth Craig (David); sister-in-law Colleen Dodson; nieces, Michele McKee (Albert), Emily Dodson, Marissa Dodson, McKenzie Dodson and Madison Dodson; nephews, Joseph Vesely Jr. and Matthew Dodson; grandnieces, Katelyn & Sarah McKee and Hannah Dodson and grandnephews Wyatt Wilde and Albert McKee, Jr. He leaves behind long-time companion Michelle Wasserman, best friend and the love of his life, and childhood friend Tom Kness.

Raymond Neal will be missed by family and friends who will remember his endearing quirkiness, entertaining storytelling and large heart. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
