Raymond S. Blazina, 74, of Manor, passed away peacefully at his home on March 11, 2026.

Raymond proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War. He carried the values of dedication and quiet strength throughout his life.

He was born to the late Steve and Nancy (Smeltzer) Blazina and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Rick Blazina and Randy Blazina.

Raymond is lovingly survived by his brother, Ron (Sue) Blazina, sister-in-law, Kathy Blazina, as well as his nephews Kevin, Greg, and Travis Blazina, and his nieces Melissa Kaczmarski and Michelle Blazina. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will remember his steady presence and kind nature.

Raymond had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found great joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. Whether casting a line or enjoying the quiet of the woods, he felt most at peace outside, surrounded by the beauty of the natural world.

Raymond will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, where he will receive the honor and gratitude owed to him for his service to our country.

To the entire Blazina family, my deepest sympathy. Raymond, Randy and Ricky were kind and amazing men with whom I always felt safe. They felt like my big brothers from another Mother and I was always quite certain that their quiet strength came from Pip and their willingness to defend a friend with life and limb came from their beautiful and boisterous Mom, Nancy. I am truly sad that I did not get the chance to tell you all what a big impact you had on me and what a wonderful part of my life you were. Rest In Peace with your Brothers dear friend, until we meet again 💔. Theresa from 287 Fleet Street

My deepest condolences to all of the Blazina family. Raymond was my godfather and while I wasn’t in contact with him for most of my adult life, I did see him a few years ago at Gram Tigano’s birthday party. I do have fond memories of him from my childhood and when I lived on Fleet Street. I’ll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
