Reverend David C. Dixon

Reverend David C. Dixon an ordained Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh for more than 60 years entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 due to complications from Parkinson’s disease and congestive heart failure. He served as a priest in many parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He served for sixteen years as pastor at Our Lady of Victory in Harwick, PA. Fr. Dixon also celebrated mass every Saturday afternoon at a campground in  Slippery Rock. He was known for starting every mass with a joke. Family and friends are welcome on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4:00-8:00pm for a visitation at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Visitation at at Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 8:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Bishop Zubik at 10:00am at Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church 5718 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. He will be buried at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. May he rest in peace.
