Richard Blaine Procacina Sr., age 86, of Carnegie, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022.
Born on March 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Helen Solomon Procacina.
Beloved husband of Mary Louise Procacina for 43 years; Loving father of Richard (Darlene) Procacina Jr., Theresa Conley, and Eric Procacina; Step Father of Phillip (Margaret) Petrie and Todd (Jennifer) Petrie; grandfather of Andrea, Athena, Alexandra, Cameron and Grant; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Marie, RoseAnn, and Joseph “Punky.”
Richard worked for Port Authority for many years driving a bus. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 2:30 pm at First Lutheran Church, 615 Grant St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219. A private burial will be held at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, 615 Grant St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219 and Parkinson Foundation of Western PA, 575 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202.
