Richard P. Brosky, age 71, of Coraopolis, PA, formerly of The Strip District and Lawrenceville, passed away on December 18th, 2025 with family by his side.

Born on November 28, 1954 to Alexander and Viola Brosky. Loving father of Emily (Terry) Gensel. Brother of Elaine Christopher, the late Raymond Brosky, and the late Jerome (Janet) Brosky. Proud grandfather of Jackson, Alaina, and Sofia Gensel.

A life long sports fan, and skilled butcher for many years. Above all else, his greatest role was being a devoted father, and grandfather— a true best friend to his grandchildren.

His legacy lives on in the love he gave, and the values he passed down through generations.

A private memorial service will be held for immediate family.

Will be missed. Enjoyed our time together, softball, golf, working together. Especially watching the football games and tailgating at the stadiums and Baltimore bus trip. Just one more ☝️.

Emily, I’m so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a good guy. We talked by text once in a while. November 28th was the last. We reminisced about all of the Steeler home games that we had so much fun at. I can’t imagine how difficult this is for you, Terry, Jackson, Alaina, Sofia and the family. Lots of hugs and prayers. Love, Aunt Barb
