I’m so sorry to hear that Mr. Burrows passed away. He was my math teacher in high school. He was a wonderful teacher but more than that he was such a kind and caring person. We were lucky to have him as our teacher. My deepest sympathies to his family.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Burrows family, especially to his darling wife of 62 years, Sue and his son’s James and Peter. I knew Dick, a.k.a. “big dick“ through the game of golf. His self deprecating humor and general good demeanor set him apart from all of his many friends and colleagues. He could spin a tale to the point one might consider them to be yarns about his experiences in life. He was very admired and respected by his buddies. I, personally, had lost track of Dick in his last years of life; but, the memory of Dick Burrows shall live on. May God rest his soul; and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
