Richard S. “Rick” Servocky

Richard S. “Rick” Servocky, of Baldwin Borough formerly of Wilkinsburg, PA passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 62. He was the beloved husband of Dana M. Servocky who was his life partner for 28 years and the cherished father of 2 sons, Patrick E. and Carman J. Servocky.
Born on February 12, 1959, he was the devoted son of the late Joseph E. and Violet A. Servocky, and the loving brother of Joseph N. Servocky and the late Francine Rini. In addition, he is survived by two nephews and many cousins.
He was passionate about helping people and making people laugh – he could and would make conversation with anyone. Rick was a “straight shooter” who took pride in going the extra mile. He enjoyed road trips, fishing, camping, cooking, history, motorcycles and trains. He was an aircraft mechanic, home improvements specialist, and drummer in various bands. He was also a teacher at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Children’s Church and to many individuals on a personal level. His love and devotion to his family were unmatched. Rick left his mark wherever he went and will be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered.
Family and friends are welcome on February 18, 2022 to view commemorative displays and pay respects to the family from 6 PM – 7 PM, and at 7 PM a memorial service will begin. Both will take place at South Hills Assembly, 2725 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
