Robert Arthur Mehr

Robert Arthur Mehr, age 73, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of La Mirada, California, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Born on November 12, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, Robert was the beloved son of the late Mary and Arthur Mehr.

Robert was the devoted husband of Patricia Mehr. He was a loving father to his five children: Robert Mehr Jr., Conrad Mehr, Shaun Mehr, Bradley Mehr, and Kimberly Mehr. He was a proud grandfather to Marcus and Ashley.  A great grandfather to Kensley, Harmony, Grayson, Kayden, and Carter, who brought great joy to his life.

He is also survived by his brother, Michael R. Mehr, along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Robert had a wide range of interests and passions. He was an avid train collector and a dedicated martial artist, earning his black belt in judo. He enjoyed attending hockey games and was a true animal lover, especially devoted to his three dogs and one cat, including his loyal support dog, Samson. Robert also had a special love for birds, raising many throughout the years and spending countless hours watching and feeding the birds and wildlife in his yard.
