Robert E. Arnold

Robert E. Arnold, 88, of Oakdale, formerly of Carnegie, PA, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026.

Born on June 13, 1938, in Bridgeville, PA, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Arnold.

Robert was the beloved husband of Sharen Arnold. He was a father to Ann Kuzmich and Daniel Arnold, and a proud grandfather to Stephen, Samantha, Anthony, and Joseph.

A hardworking and talented mechanic, Robert was the owner and operator of his own garage in Carnegie for 55 years, where he earned the respect and friendship of generations of customers. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Robert was widely known for his love of drag racing and was a familiar face at Pittsburgh International Dragway and the drag strip in Salem, Ohio. His passion for automobiles extended beyond his profession, and he spent countless hours doing what he loved most, working on cars and racing with friends.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. Robert’s legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will cherish the time they shared with Robert and will remember him with love and gratitude.
