Robert Hall Wilson

Robert Hall Wilson, age 89, formerly of Turtle Creek and resident of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Born on September 28, 1931, Bob was the youngest son of the late Joseph and Olive Wilson.

Bob and his wife of 68 years, June Wilson, are the loving parents to Robin (Angie) Wilson, Patricia Nesta, Jaye (Eric) Bowers, Rebecca Catena, and Tracy (William) Holden.  He was the proud grandfather to Nicole Wilson, Tania (John) Hanscom, John Bell, Sandra (Jesse) Johnson, Ryan (Beka) Catena, Brent (Kelsey) Bowers, Justin Catena, Danielle Catena, Jarred (Haley) Bowers, William Holden and Robert Holden. He was great grandfather to eight (with a ninth on the way).

He is also survived by sister Virginia Matteo and preceded in death by sister Dolores Brown.

“Mr. Wilson” spent most of his career as a machinist at Westinghouse Research and Development Center and also worked for many years at Respironics, Inc.  In addition, he was a skilled and avid golfer, with six holes-in-one throughout the years.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the AHN Hospice staff for their wonderful help and care.
