Robert J. Clary of Pittsburgh, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 30, 1953 and was the son of the late Matthew and Goldie Clary. Bob was the beloved husband of 34 years to Judee. He was the loving father of Matthew, Kristen, and Michael and the loving grandfather of Camden and Rohen. He was the brother-in-law of Ed (Doris) Karpinski, Kathy (Bobby) Wong, Joe (Lisa) Karpinski, and Anthony (Allison) Karpinski and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a graduate of Houston Baptist University with majors in music and education. He was a member of Victory Family Church, Cranberry Township, where he passionately served in children’s ministry and missions. Bob played and taught piano, and enjoyed musicals, westerns and old movies. Bob’s specialties in the kitchen were endless, but he’s most famous for his toffee bars and pecan pie. His appetite for food and family came alive at our annual family reunions. He treasured his family and friends and he sure loved his country. Above all, Bob loved God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength.

A private burial will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life memorial service on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:30pm at Victory Family Church, 21150 Route 19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to Victory Family Church.

My deepest condolences. May God wrap his loving arms around the family each and every day and provide you with peace, love, and wonderful memories. Although Bob is not with you all physically anymore he is truly present with the Lord in Heaven forever. Job well done, Job well done!
