Robert T. Mossburg Jr., age 69, of Washington, passed away with family by his side on October 13, 2024.

Born on August 5, 1955, he was the son of the late Dorothy and Robert T. Mossburg Sr.

Beloved husband of the late Cheryl Mossburg; loving father of Mindy (the late Ernest Oliver III) Oliver; Jason (Zachary Comfort) Mossburg, and Melissa (Zachary) Koeppelle; cherished Pappy of Coby Koeppelle and granddogs, Gizmo, Byron, Bailey, Chloe, Winston, Bo, Levi, Dakota, and Loki; dear brother of Donna Clark; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Robert enjoyed a life filled with cherished moments, particularly trips to Amish country, where he found joy in the simplicity of the countryside. A lover of puzzles, Robert spent countless hours engaged in this favorite pastime, often sharing the challenge with family.

He took great pride in spending time with his children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Robert had a passion for dirt racing, often attending events and cheering on favorite drivers.

Professionally, he was a dedicated worker, embodying a strong work ethic by holding multiple jobs at times. For 37 years, he was a valued project worker at Washington Hospital, where his contributions were deeply appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
