Roger B. Hardesty

Roger B. Hardesty, 88 of Ross Township, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Emma W. Hardesty; son of the late Herman and Martha Hardesty; loving father of John C. (Karen) and Robert A. (Jessica) Hardesty; stepfather of Emma and Leah Wolff; brother of Robert Hardesty, Marilyn McKenna, Terry Hardesty, Patricia Wilkinson, Susan Partin and Nicholas Hardesty; grandfather of Amelia, Joshua, Christopher and Angelica.

Roger was a proud Korean War veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed golf and was a Steelers fan.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish (Saint Teresa of Avila Church), 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Everyone please meet at church and wear a mask. Inurnment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park with military honors.
