Roger Oldaker Sr., 80, of Upper Saint Clair, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at St. Clair Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2020.  Born on November 24, 1940 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Pauline Pikras and William Oldaker.  Married for 59 years to the love of his life, Kathleen (Cunningham) Oldaker, he was a devoted husband and a passionate father.  He was preceded in death by sons Roger Oldaker Jr. and Greg Oldaker.  He was a loving father-in-law to Tami (Tasillo) Oldaker, and grandfather to Brett, Blair, and Bria Oldaker.  Roger will forever be known as a hockey enthusiast, having coached his sons’ hockey teams throughout high school and college.  Affectionately known as “Big” and “Pepa”, he was a kind and generous man who always had a story and a bit of advice to offer.  Roger and Kathleen traveled extensively and experienced many of the greatest adventures that the world has to offer.  At home, his simple pleasures included watching cowboy movies and spending time with his cats and dogs.  His beautiful soul and infectious personality left a mark on everyone he crossed paths with.  He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

A private ceremony was held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on Thursday, December 3, 2020.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Washington County Humane Society.  Please have yourself a shot of Jameson whiskey in Roger’s honor!
