Ronald G. Speer, age 72 of South Fayette, PA passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021. Born on November 22, 1949, he was the son of the late Ruth and Harold Speer. Loving father of Glenn (Jessica) Speer. Cherished grandfather of Brooklyn Speer. Loving brother of Esther (the late Thomas) Jurick and Robert (Debra) Speer and step brother to William (Carol) Watters. Ronald is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by James (surviving Ruth) Watters.
Ronald graduated from the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. He worked for Allegheny County Parks and Recreation for many years. Ron was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan and will be dearly missed by all.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 2 PM – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
