Ronald Stephen Meder, Age 79 of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Marcella Meder and brother, Richard J. Meder (Genevieve Anna)

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne M.; 2 sons, Steven Meder of Pittsburgh, Jeff Meder of Pittsburgh and daughter, Kris M.Wenslovas (David) of Canonsburggrandchildren, Dawson Wenslovas and Carson Wenslovas. 

He graduated High School from St. Wendelins School, attended Robert Morris and joined the Army Reserves. He began his career at the Pittsburgh Press/Pittsburgh Post Gazette, retiring in 2013. Ronald enjoyed yearly vacations to Wildwood New Jersey and spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 4-8 pm at the Pittsburgh Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA. 15317, 724- 260-5546

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 13, 2020 at 10:30 am at  St. John XXIII Parish, 120 Abington Dr, McMurray, PA. 15317. With burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org or The American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
