Roy W. Clingan, age 89, of Canonsburg, passed away with family by his side on October 5, 2024.

Born on November 23, 1934, he was the son of the late Cora and John Clingan.

Beloved husband of 68 years to Barbara Clingan; loving father of Mark (Beth) Clingan and Beth (Donald) Jones; cherished grandfather of Thomas (Rachel) Clingan, Timothy (Crystal) Clingan, Brittany (Michael) Chirumbolo, Lindsey Lavorgna, Keith Lavorgna Jr., Donald (Caroline) Jones, Brandon (Angela) Jones, Nicole (Brandon) Hetrick, Cory (Lacey) Jones and many great grandchildren; Roy grew up as one of twelve children.

For many years he owned Clingan Builders, building many home in Western Pennsylvania. He was a strong man of faith who loved his church, serving there faithfully. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11 am at Nottingham Christian Center, 1028 Linden Rd., Eighty Four, PA 15330. Service will be officiated by Pastor Mark Clingan and Pastor Bill Lusk.   Everybody please meet at the church. Burial at Forest Lawn Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nottingham Christian Center.
