Rudy Capobres, 88, of Washington, PA formerly of Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 4, 2026. Born on January 9, 1938 in Manila Philippines, he was the son of the late Rudolfo and Alfreda Capobres.

Beloved husband of Mary Ann Capobres, to whom he was married for 60 years; Loving father to Mark (Nicole) Capobres and Kim (Corey) Seaton; Pap Pap to Anna and Ethan Capobres; Brother to Eloisa May Salcedo, Alfreda Flor Sekharan, and Pio Abdon Capobres.

He is preceded in death by his older sister, Rowenna Silfreda Capobres.

Rudy dedicated over 50 years of his life to the practice of anesthesiology, serving patients and working alongside colleagues at numerous hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh area. Beyond his medical career, he was a photographer extraordinaire who always had a camera in his hand and was an avid gardener. He cherished life’s simple pleasures and created lasting memories with those he loved.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4-8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317. Private burial will take place at Forest Lawn Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rudy’s honor to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
