Ruth F. Stage

Ruth Feldstein Stage, age 78 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 of complications from Covid-19. She was born in Elizabeth, PA March 28, 1942 and is the daughter of the late Norman and Gladys Feldstein.

Loving mother of Deborah and Zoje Stage and dear sister of Jay (Judi) Feldstein.

Ruth was a free spirit who loved to stay up late into the night reading a thick tome of historical fiction. Every summer she liked to go to a Renaissance Festival with her daughters, all of them in costume. Ruth was a needlepoint master, and enjoyed cooking, playing bridge and board games, and listening to classical music. A bit of an adventurer, she hiked and backpacked in West Virginia, the Smoky Mountains, and the Grand Canyon. Ruth would’ve loved to have a small dragon as a pet, but she was just as happy being a Cat Lady.
