Sandra L. Dorrance

Sandra L. Dorrance, age 74, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Born on November 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor and Charles Ames.

Beloved wife of James N. Dorrance Sr. for 53 years; loving mother of James N. Dorrance Jr., Adrienne M. Dorrance (Ramero) and the late Matthew C. Dorrance; grandmother of Jacob Dorrance and Damian Steiner; dear sister of Kimberly Ames and Sherri (Terry) Getner; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sandy loved to paint.

A service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 1:30 pm in the Veteran’s Section, 2900 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. Service will be officiated by Pastor Martin Stewart and his wife Carol from Markleysburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends of Pittsburgh, thinkingoutsidethecage.org.
