Sandra Pennell

Sandra Pennell, age 86 of Upper St Clair PA, formerly of Mount Carmel PA, passed away on March 25, 2022. She was born January 8, 1936, in Mount Carmel.

Beloved widow of Charles Pennell, loving mother to David and Steven, and cherished grandmother to Charlie and Will.

Sandra was an avid reader of newspapers, enjoyed watercolor painting, museum going with friends and family vacations at the Outer Banks NC. After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, she had a long career as a writer at various Pittsburgh advertising agencies.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
