Sandra Romano Nekos

Sandra Romano Nekos, 72 of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024. Born August 22, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA she is the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Romano. She is survived by her beloved daughter Jeanine E. (Kyle Merritt) Nebay and extended family members.

Sandra was a devoted member of Union Presbyterian Church. She worked the majority of her life as a teacher’s aide in special education with the Montour School District. The family would like to give special thanks to Wynona for her friendship and expertise in helping with Sandra’s care.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Union Presbyterian Church, 6165 Steubenville Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15277. Inurnment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, PA.

Memorial contributions in Sandra’s name may be made to Union Presbyterian Church or a children’s charity of your choice.
