Stanley “Butchie” Dankis

Stanley “Butchie” Dankis of South Side, formerly of Uptown Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully at the age of 78. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA October 6, 1941 and is the son of the late Stanley and Tillie Dankis.

Beloved husband of Carol Dankis and loving father of Steve (Kimberly) Dankis and the late Ronnie and Babe Dankis. Grandfather of Danielle, Shawn, Nicole, Amber and Alexis. Great-grandfather of Tyler and Caleb.

Butchie proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Burial with military honors will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
