Stephen Anthony Ciechalski, age 89, of South Park, Pennsylvania, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on April 16. 2026. Born on February 9, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna Ciechalski.
Stephen was the beloved husband of Mary Ciechalski; Loving father to Mary (Frank) Ciancone, Steve (Melissa) Ciechalski, and Dan Ciechalski; Cherished brother to Juliann (Bill) Mehall. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Stephen had a passion for hunting and fishing and was known as a true “jack of all trades,” always willing to share his knowledge and lend a helping hand. He had a gift for storytelling and could captivate anyone with his tales. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family.
All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
