Stephen Charles Tokich, age 65, of McDonald, PA, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Beloved husband of Cynthia Lynne Tokich. Born on May 17, 1957 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of the late John and Sophie (Bak) Tokich. Loving father of Christine Machtley (Robert), Jeffrey Tokich (Rachael), and Ashley Tokich (Gordon Kees); grandfather of Zoey, Logan, and McKenzie Machtley and Sophia Tokich; brother of Dave Tokich, and the late Barbara Pruski, Timothy Tokich, and Gary Tokich.

Steve passed after a 1.5 year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, enjoyed collecting autographs, watching the Penguins, fishing, walking along the beach with his metal detector, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by his best friend and “nurse” Mittens, who never left his side.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Mass will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:00am at St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church 320 Munson Ave. McKees Rocks, PA 15136 followed by interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, McKees Rocks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreas Foundation at pancreasfoundation.org
