Susan L. Palush

Susan Lillian Palush, age 72, of Jefferson, PA, formerly of Westernport, Maryland, passed away on April 30, 2024. Born on August 1, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA, she is the daughter of the late James and Joan Storey.

Susan was the beloved widow of Bruce Palush.

She was the loving mother of Melissa (Butch) Hufnagel, Lawrence (Malissa) Zamko, and Brenda Stevenson. Sister of Donna (Jerry) Schmitt, Bill (Kim) Storey), Joe Storey, Vince Storey, Bonnie (Rich) Stewart, Judy Storey, and Stacy (Tim) Mihalic. Grandmother to Billy Joe (Whitney) Spiker, Lawrence Zamko Jr., Jessica Zamko, Brandon Zamko, Larson Hufnagel, Leland Zamko, Bruce Zamko, and Paiton Lease. Great-grandmother to Charlie, Aaliyah, Ryley, and Abel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her brother, James Storey Jr..

Susan enjoyed many things: doing crossword puzzles, growing her garden, playing computer games, watching detective shows, and listening to country music. Most of all, she loved to help others. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
